Hello all! This Nick Lowe penned tune’s question is even more poignant today than when it was written so many years ago. There has been this massive increase in the level of hate and total disregard anyone that is not part of your particular demographic. Not just in this country, but the world. I really do not want to make this a totally political critique. That’s obviously part of it, but it’s also about greed, fear of change, and people’s inability to feel any emphaty for anyone or anything. I know I’m writing in general terms, but it’s the only way I know how. I’m not a psychologist or a sociologist. I am not a politician nor any kind of pundit. I’m just someone very concerned where things are going in the world. I really want to write about this with more details and specific examples. Right now it’s on my mind and I need to get it out. I will be exploring these ideas and themes on and off this blog. Just writing this now is giving me ideas for future posts. I hope you guys will bear with me as I get these thoughts together.
